Dr.Yu Qiu Guo, M.D., Ac.

Dr. Yuqiu Guo, a Chinese M.D., did advanced (Ph.D.) study of Western medicine at Japan's Osaka University. She was Chief Doctor at China's Harbin Medical University Hospital. In 1988 she became mainland China's first medical practitioner to es­tablish a practice in Ottawa. She operates the Chinese Medi­cine and Acupuncture Clinic. Her gen­eral/family practice spe­cializes in acupuncture and massage. Her pharmacy offers the re­gion's largest selection of Chinese medicines and bulk herbs. She also teaches qigong (Chinese medical meditation) and is herself a qigong master.
